Happy Valentine's Day!

The girls holding their Valentines and goodies they received from school yesterday!  They've been enjoying eating all of the sugar!

Lego Zoo

 The girls' school had Art Night, and here are Sarah and Emily's masterpieces!  They worked very hard!

 We had a bit of snow last Thursday, and this is what was left after the girls returned from school that afternoon.  They had fun playing in it!

Silly Goose

 Emily is just hilarious these days, and we've adopted a new nickname for her:  Silly Goose.  She enjoys putting Daddy's beenie on her head!

 She got in all by herself!  Now, if she would just stop wanting to use the things!

 She was my little shopper over the weekend.  I attempted this a few months back, and it was a complete failure.  This time, it was a lot better, but we could use a few months more. 

 Sarah started dance this month.  She LOVES it.  She smiles the entire time, and looks so darn cute too!  Actually, they all do, and it is a hoot to watch!  Please excuse my fuzzy pictures; the girls are moving, and I'm taking the pictures from behind a walled mirror/window, so it's not great!  She's in a combination jazz and ballet class, and two of her friends in her class from school just happen to be in the same class too. 

Christmas in Houston

 We started Christmas in Houston at PaPa's house.  A great time was had by all!

 Next, it was Christmas at MaMa's house.  Fun times once again!

Father Daughter Dance 2013

Ice Day...

 Trying our best to stay busy couped up in the house due to the "ice storm."  I decided we could pass the time baking cookies, so we did that.  We made homemade ones, so it took a while to make the dough, let it harder in the fridge, roll it out, bake, then ice them.  The girls were very patient but eager for them to be ready.  By the time it was time to decorate the cookies, all the girls wanted to do was eat them...

 Emily didn't even attempt to decorate the cookies; she just ate them...

 Sarah decorated about five of them, and then I was left to do the rest of the batch...

 This was the perfect picture opportunity!  The zoo was not crowded at all, and the leaves were just the perfect fall colors!

 Sarah is still apprehensive about feeding the giraffes, but she is getting closer to them.
