Kindergarten!!

Sarah has been waiting for Kindergarten for almost a year now (with that September birthday, she couldn't go last year even though she REALLY wanted to!)  She was very excited when the first day arrived!  I predicted I would have a hard time, but I actually did better than I thought.  It helped to know one of Sarah's closest friends from preschool ended up in her class.

Meet the Teacher Night!  Sarah really likes her teacher, Mrs. Coffey!
The first day of school also was the first soccer practice for Sarah!  She had a lot of fun, and she said she liked it more than she thought she would!  She had her first game today, and she did a great job and had fun!

Eleven Months Old!

Lauren is 11 months old today, and she's just as cute as can be!  She tries really hard to pull up on things, and she doesn't stay still much anymore.  Love her!

Ten Months Old!

Lauren is ten months old today!  She's still trying to figure out that whole crawling thing, but she's scooting all over the place.  She still has four teeth, and she's been eating a mixture of purees and table food these days.

A late picture from Father's Day showing the coffee mugs the girls made for Rusty!
Play date at the splash pad with Sarah's close friends from school
Lauren is too fascinated by the fountains to look anywhere but down.

 Sweetie!
She's been doing a lot of this move lately; still trying to crawl, but can't figure out how to get that one leg around to get on both of her knees.
Sweet Emils!

Nine Months Old!

Lauren is nine months old today!  She already had two teeth, but I noticed the third (top front) today!
Also, she is trying hard to go somewhere.
Almost every time you put her down on the floor, she's trying to move!
 Tongue out again
Sweet girl!

LEGO Americana Roadshow

Stonebriar Mall hosted the LEGO Americana Roadshow over the past couple of weeks, and we went to see it the last day it was displayed.  It had ten large scale models of national landmarks put together by LEGO master builders; pretty impressive!
 The Capitol Building
 Statue of Liberty
 The Liberty Bell
 The White House
Rusty built the girls a play house made out of recycled signage from our church.  He had fun building it for them, and they have had a blast playing in it this week!  We are so thankful for Daddy's building/handy man skills!

First Time in the Pool

Lauren enjoyed her first time in the swimming pool over the weekend!

All of the girls had a great time!
