I'm a Happy Baby Girl!

I was able to get some pictures of Sarah actually looking at the camera more over the past week. She's still crawling around and extremely active, but at least she stopped enough to let me get her smiling/looking at me in a few. Sarah has also become quite talkative. She's been saying a lot of "a na, a na".

Concentrating on making music; these have actually come in handy while changing Sarah's diapers here recently.

I had to include this one mainly to explain the raising of the hand thing. Sarah has been doing this a lot lately; I guess she's pointing at things, so I'll tell her what I think she's pointing at. Sometimes, though, it seems as though she's just exploring with her hands, like in this one.

I hadn't pulled this one out in a while, and you would have thought it was the best toy ever by the reaction Sarah gave it. Einstein was pretty impressed with it too; well, at least with the strings on it!

I've mentioned before that Sarah takes toys with her as she crawls, but who would have thought she'd take something so big too...

Sarah is finding new places to crawl into/under; very inquisitive.

Enjoying playing in the exersaucer.

I caught her looking again!
Sarah's very excited face, accompanied by some fun noises as well.

Ten Months

Our sweet sunshine!!

Hmmm...what's down there?

Grandma Penny, come save me...

If you noticed, in the past three pictures, Sarah has the purple and orange blocks out of the rest of the colors. We've noticed she's partial to those colors. We aren't sure if it is a color thing or if it is because she likes the shape and how she can grab it, but she almost always goes for these two colors. Also, she's been throwing one in front of her and then chasing it. It's a cute little game she's made up.

Look at Me!

Sarah has been making it more difficult to change her diaper these days. As you can see, she wants to flip over to her tummy. The distraction that we'd hang from the top on the armoire rail doesn't work anymore, so we have to be very creative or usually, her hair brush works. Sarah is also clapping her hands now; it's really cute. Sometimes, we'll catch her doing it in her crib before we get her out in the morning.

Sarah loves to be read to. She gets read to before each nap, and Rusty and I read to her before bed each night. We really enjoy that time with her.

I caught Sarah the other night reading; it was pretty cute because usually she's eating the book, has it upside down, etc, but this time it really looked like she was reading!

We are still working on getting the animals to pop open on this toy. It'll come!

This is one of Sarah's newest toys. She likes the blue computer the most because she can open and close it a lot.
