That's More Like It!

Sweet pea is doing SO MUCH better!  Last week had to have been the longest week of our lives.  We still aren't in the clear, but Emily is feeling better and the infection is definitely under control.  We will now work on the other "issue" gradually.

It's so wonderful to see her smiling for us and in a better mood!!
Tummy time, with big sister's help

Sarah LOVES to play with Emily.  She is super excited to read to her, play with her toys with her, pretty much to do anything with her.  It's super sweet!  What a great Big Sister!
At Sarah's school today, they had a costume parade.  It was quite entertaining to see so many little kiddos dressed up!  Not sure why Sarah had her thumb in her mouth the entire time, I guess it was a little overwhelming...
Ms. Lynnette is one of Sarah's teachers, and Sarah loves her and calls her "my friend."

Sarah and School

I've been meaning to update on how Sarah has been doing at school.  She absolutely LOVES it!  She asks to go there frequently, she talks about her friends she's met there (which of course include her teachers Ms. Lynnette and Ms. Lisa!), and she has definitely shown more openness to socializing with kids she randomly sees places.  We are so happy and blessed that she enjoys school so much!

Strike a Pose!

At times while napping, Emily will raise her hands up like this.  This time though, she kept them up in the air for at least two or three minutes.
Not really wanting her picture taken...
Over the weekend, we took the girls to the Dallas Zoo.  Sarah, as always, had a lot of fun.
We fed the giraffes.  This is actually a picture of someone else feeding a giraffe though because when we did it, he ate ALL of the lettuce at once...
This time, we rode the monorail around parts of the zoo.  Sarah enjoyed it!
Enjoying some lunch; Sarah loves her some raisins!

Pumpkin Patch Trip

MeMe and PaPa were in town for the weekend, and they took the girls on a surprise trip to the Pumpkin Patch.  They had a ball!
 What a big pumpkin!
I can pick it up, no problem!

One Month Old

It's very hard to believe Emily is one month old today!  She's more alert now, and she's starting to show some personality.  She goes for her one month check-up this week, so we'll see her stats then!
