Lemonade Anyone?

Last weekend, Rusty had a Solar Trade Show in Fredericksburg, so we went with him.  One of Rusty's co-workers had a great idea to have a lemonade stand there to give the girls something to do, and it was a hit!  The girls had a lot of fun with it.  Sarah became a pro at selling the lemonade (it was free and donations went to the Solar Energy Society), and Emily enjoyed sitting with her sister!
We went to a little German bakery, and Sarah wanted to have the entire cinnamon roll to herself.  This thing was massive, so we tried to convince her to share with her sister, but she refused.  The little girl ate the entire thing!
So, Emily shared with me instead.
We went to the Becker Vineyards, and the girls enjoyed the outdoors for a bit.  It was suppose to rain the entire weekend, but it ended up getting sunny for most of Sunday.
Rooting on the Cowboys!  The point was to get them playing on TV in the background too, but that wasn't really a success.

Puppet Show!

The girls had fun presenting their puppet show to me at the library yesterday!

Sarah tried to show Emily they weren't suppose to have their heads showing...

Silly Emily!

 What a cutie!
This is a picture Emily's teacher took of her on her first day of school.  She LOVES playing with the babies!
They celebrated Emily's birthday last week at her school.  For the rest of the day after she returned home, Emily kept singing the "Happy Birthday" song!

Sarah's Birthday

 Our 4 year old!
Sarah had a great birthday!  She had a celebration at school, and then we went to Chuck e Cheese as a family after school.  We then had more cupcakes after dinner!
She's such a big girl, and she picked out her outfit all by herself at the store!
Sweet sisters!

Happy 4th Birthday Sarah!

We love you Sarah Grace!

Girls' Princess Party!

The girls after the party!  What a fun time they had with their friends!  Sarah and Emily had a joint birthday party since their birthdays are so close to each other.  They wanted a princess party, of course, and Sarah wanted to be Cinderella, while Emily wanted to be Belle.  Two days before the party, Emily changed her mind and wanted to be Tiana instead, so that's what she did even though it was still decorated as Belle at the party...!

Our sweet girls had so much fun!

Tiaras and wands waited for the princesses to arrive...
I tried to be creative.  The rose petals were suppose to represent the petals falling off of the Beast's rose and the pretzel rods were suppose to represent the Fairy Godmother's wand.  I also made chocolate covered strawberries that were suppose to be the rose from Beauty and the Beast.

 The big reveal:  Cinderella came!
Not only were the girls so cute all dressed up, but they were super excited to talk to Cinderella!
 Make-up time!

 Limbo time!
I didn't think this game would be the hit it was...the girls had a blast playing it!
 Story time!
 The princesses with Cinderella!

 Pocahontas, Jasmine and Cinderella
 About to sing Happy Birthday!
Blowing out the candles...Emily needed a little help from big sister!

1st Day of School!

 1st Day of School!

Sarah was very excited to return to school, and she gets to go three days a week too, so she likes that!!  She had a great day!
This is Emily's first year to go to school.  She has the same teacher Sarah had last year, and she did great today!  No tears when we dropped her off!!
