Eight Months Old!

Sweet girl is eight months old?  I can't believe it has already been that long.  She also said her first word over the weekend:  DaDa.  Ever since, she's been quite the talker!

Sister Time Fun

Rusty took Sarah and Emily to the creek by our house over the weekend.  They had a lot of fun exploring, and they even came home with a variety of things they found there.
 Cuteness!

Sarah found a hat that fit over the helmet!
 Sticking out that tongue again!

Sitting Up and A New Accessory

Lauren started sitting on her own about a week or so ago.  Depending on the time of the day, she will sit there for up to five minutes on her own.  So, she's not officially doing it where I don't have to keep an eye on her, but she's almost there!
She also had to get a helmet to correct some cosmetic features on her head.  Previously, I had mentioned we started physical therapy to help with all of it, but we started a little too late, and the damage had already been done due to the torticollis she was born with. She officially got the helmet on April 2nd, so she's about to hit the three week mark of wearing it 23 hours a day.  They told us she will have to wear it 2-3 months, depending on how things progress.  At first, her body didn't react too well to wearing it, and we had to ease her into it (a lot of redness on parts of her head).  She didn't seem to care too much about wearing it, but it did take her about a week to get used to it during nap time and night time sleep.

Girls' Open House and Art Night

Last week, the girls had Open House and Art Night at their school.  It is always a great event that the teachers and kids work very hard preparing for the parents.  They didn't fail this time for sure!  Sarah has had so much fun in TK this year, and she has learned more than I thought she would.  Her teachers, Ms.  Melissa and Ms. Korren are wonderful at what they do!
 Sarah's art work this year
She named it "Sarah's flower"; very impressive work!

The TK class memorized lines they said throughout the performance, and they all did a great job!  The theme this year was Noah's Ark, so the songs followed that theme, and the kids told that story.
Emily enjoyed her performance too!  The kids did a great job singing and doing the motions to the songs!

Emily's art work this year!  She named it "Butterflies"; great work too!
The girls with friends from church, Kadence and Elle.  We went to Klyde Warren Park on Good Friday to listen to Pastor Ed's message.  We traveled via bus, which the girls enjoyed!
 She sleeps!
Emily and her good friend, Hannah, enjoy hanging out at school together.  We are pretty sure they will be in the same class next year too, and we are happy about that!

Easter Weekend

The big girls love their little sister!

We spent Saturday at Addison and Emmy's house, and the girls had an egg hunt.  Their neighbor, Aubrey, joyed in the fun too.  A lot of candy was had by all!!
