Loving Life

I think this picture says it all. Sarah is all smiles lately, and she is just such a ball to be around! Sarah had her six month appointment this week. Dr. Nail said her physical exam was excellent, and he said she has great motor and social development. She weighs 15.5 lbs (25-50%), is 26" (75%), and her head circumference is 17.3" (90%). Another great visit!

I introduced the stacking star toy to Sarah this week. She likes to look at it light up as I stack each star on top of the other. She'll take the stars and put them in her mouth or put the entire yellow part in her mouth when all of the stars are off of the stack.

This face is one I see quite often. It's that "wow, what is that" face where she just gets so focused on an object. It's really fun to watch her explore and learn!

Oh, those beautiful big brown eyes! Daddy doesn't know what he's got coming...

Sarah enjoys playing on her own in her pack n play. She's kicking her feet on the piano and looking at the moving mobile at the same time; learning how to multi-task quite well.

I told you I'd keep you updated on how the peas went over with Miss Sarah. Well, she really likes them, so she doesn't take after her Daddy on that one. We've also introduced sweet potatoes, and of course, she was a fan of those. I think carrots might be next.
