My First Vacation

We went to Vail, Colorado for a week. Everyone had a really great time, and it was a success! Sarah's first flying experience was smooth as well. There definitely were some worried folks when they saw we were sitting by them, but Sarah impressed them all!

We took pictures at the top of Vail Mountain one day after Rusty and I were finished skiing. The girls were troopers; it was pretty cold up there!

At the top of Beaver Creek, they had this carving; pretty impressive! We skied at Vail and Beaver Creek (for the first time), and Beaver Creek has now become one of our favorites.

There was a frozen lake outside the condo where we stayed. We took Sarah for a walk on the coldest afternoon when we were there. Not the smartest of ideas...

Aunt Rachel thought it would be a good idea to let Sarah drink her Diet Sunkist for her mid morning snack. I think she liked it! Just kidding Grandma Penny; don't worry!!

The beautiful mountains in Colorado. It is truly amazing what God created. I couldn't help but stop while at the top of the mountain skiing at times and just be in awe of what I was seeing up there!
